If you want your business to generate more revenue, building your email subscriber list can be one of the best decisions you ever make.
There are a few very important reasons why having an email subscriber list is incredibly powerful and highly lucrative.
First, when you have an email subscriber list you can get free traffic just by sending out an email! Which means… YOU control the traffic! It also means you can communicate directly with your prospects anytime you want.
Traffic is the lifeblood of any Pinterest business and online business. And, each email address a Pinterest business collects is worth approximately $1 a month.
In other words, you can expect to make approximately $1 a month per email subscriber if you email your list on a regular basis, a combination of free information and opportunities to buy things.
So if you have an email subscriber list of 5,000 people you could expect to make an average of $5,000 a month just from your email marketing efforts.
Considering that an autoresponder system such as getresponse.com or aweber.com only costs a few dollars a month (as little as $15 a month) email marketing can be a highly lucrative business model.
Here you can find some tools that can help you verify and validate email addresses in bulk

And if you want to generate more revenue for your Pinterest business and business in general, it can be as simple as increasing the size of your mailing list.
And Pinterest marketing can be a very effective way to build a mailing list, so in this blog you’ll discover some very effective list building strategies.
The first step, will be to pick an email provider from the many available. Ideally, the auto responder system you choose should have a free trial to ensure you are happy with its features and has everything you need before you commit to it.
Make sure during the free trial it is user-friendly enough or else it might become too difficult to run email marketing campaigns consistently and implement list building strategies.
Lastly, make sure the autoresponder system you use has a tagging feature so you can segment your subscriber list. In other words, provides you with the ability to segment your list so your emails can be customized according to who you’re sending them to.
The second step when implementing list building strategies with Pinterest marketing is creating a lead capture page.
A lead capture page should include an attention-grabbing headline. Usually, effective headlines include specific numbers, such as “The 7 foods that will burn fat and build muscles”.
Good headlines also include big promises, such as “The 3 little-known ways to build a list without paying for advertising”.
A lead capture page should also include a supporting image to illustrate what the person will receive in exchange for submitting their name and email.
Then, also include a brief description of your offer, using a few bullet points. Each bullet point should be benefit-driven mainly, and not only underline the features of your offer.
For example, instead of writing “receive 5 videos of 60 minutes each” focus on the benefits of each video.
Your lead capture page should also include a form to capture people’s information. Remember, the more information you request, the less likely people are going to submit their details.
Requesting someone’s name and email only is usually pretty standard, and should be enough at first.
Then, below your lead capture form include a call to action. Avoid the call to action “submit” as it tends to lower the conversion rates of lead capture pages, as subconsciously, no one wants to “submit” their contact details. Instead, use words such as “yes, let me in”, “instant download”, “send me the report” etc…
The offer you make on any optin page should always be easy to consume. Remember, your Pinterest followers don’t have much time, and like consuming information in the fastest and easiest way possible.
Therefore, putting together a 100-page ebook as a free offer could turn some of your Pinterest followers away. Instead, replace your offers with easily digestible content such as checklists, templates, 2-3 pages-long report, short videos or short audio recordings.
Once you have created your landing page and linked it to your autoresponder system, it’s time to drive traffic to it using Pinterest marketing. In order to run your Pinterest promotion, make sure you create attention-grabbing images.
With a Pinterest promotion, the best performing images are unique, original and artistic. This is why it’s best if you create your own pictures when running a Pinterest promotion instead of just using stock images that might have been used already and that your Pinterest followers might have seen already.

On Pinterest, it’s always the most beautiful and creative pins that get the most attention.
When creating pins for your landing page, make sure they are vertical, approximately 600 x 900 pixels. Pins that are narrow and long tend to perform much better than square pins.
One of the many great Pinterest tools to create these images is canva.com. When you login to Canva, simply click on “Pinterest graphic”.
When you do, any images you create on Canva will be the right size. You can then upload your own images by clicking on “uploads” or you can choose from their thousands of images available by clicking on “search” and typing in keywords for the type of image you’re after.
Design Wizard is also an excellent graphic design software which allows you to edit images in seconds. It holds over 1 million images and tens of thousands of high-quality templates. Standout features include a custom colour palette, free font library and resize button.
Then, upload your pins to Pinterest. To do so, login to your Pinterest account and click on the plus sign on the top right hand side and choose “create pin”. When you do, you’ll be asked to write a title for your pin. Instead of using generic titles when using Pinterest for marketing, make sure they’re keyword rich and descriptive.
For example, if your lead capture page provides a free report on Intermittent Fasting, you can name your pin “the beginner’s guide to intermittent fasting” instead of just naming your pin “intermittent fasting”.
To get ideas for keyword rich titles when using Pinterest for marketing, login to your Pinterest account and type in a word in Pinterest’s search bar, and when you do, Pinterest will suggest keywords for you.
Just scroll through them and pick the ones that are the most relevant to your pins. Alternatively, browse through similar pins and check their titles to get even more ideas.
Then, write a keyword rich description of your pin. When using Pinterest for marketing, the more keyword rich your pin description is, the more likely it will rank in the search results.
Don’t forget to also add a call to action in the description as well, inviting people to click on the pin to secure their free offer.
Lastly, add the URL of your lead capture page in the box that says “Add the URL this pin links to”. This way, when people click on your pin, they’ll be redirected to your lead capture page.
Don’t stop at creating just one pin in your Pinterest business account for your lead capture page. Use your Pinterest account to test different pins all pointing to your lead capture page.
The more pins you have, the more traffic you’ll be able to redirect from your Pinterest business account.
Another effective strategy is writing blog posts on your website which advertise your lead capture page and then creating pins in your Pinterest business account which redirect to the blog post. This creates other opportunities for you to build your mailing list thanks to Pinterest.
